575 Main St, Palmerston North

Scope of Works -

The site had two main buildings and a carpark which encompasses an area of 3,660 SQM.

575 Main Street is situated in the heart of central Palmerston North. Before redevelopment, it was occupied by workers from the Ministry of Health who were conducting administration work in regard to COVID-19 testing. And will now be the new location for the Ministry of Social Development and other businesses.

Our key goals for this project were to recycle and divert as many materials as possible, we were able to salvage 140m3 of framing timber, 25m3 of native Totara & Rimu and along with recycling all metals, cabling and concrete.

All types of framing timbers were taken by a non-profit organisation to be restored and reused.
