ARC UPcycle Depot

Building Salvage & Custom Furniture

Our focus and striving to be at the forefront of the circular economy has pushed us into new avenues to create products and services that give back and help keep precious resources from landfill.

All materials from past and current demolition projects have enabled us an abundance of resources to create furniture out of native materials and hold a range of Doors, Windows, Fixture & Fittings that are readily available for customers.

Our team are able to complete a range of services involving the running of timber floorboards, creating trim & timber mouldings and can provide custom-built doors for your home or office.

We partnered with a local furniture maker and provided a workshop space for him to upcycle native timber saved from job sites we worked on . The partnership was so successful that the furniture maker is now running a shop that sells the recycled furniture

Here are some examples of how we handle materials salvaged from job sites:

  • Fittings and fixtures: Salvaged and sold or donated to local businesses for community access
  • Doors and windows: Salvaged and sold or donated to local businesses for community access
  • Timber: Transported off site, de-nailed, sorted and graded for a wide range of repurposed goods
  • Glass: Double-glazed materials are recycled through crushing
  • Bricks: Individually cleaned of mortar and sold to local communities
  • Concrete: Crushed and re-used for subbase materials, where suitable
  • Gib: Separated and packaged for future crushing and separation of paper to create affordable products
  • Metals: Salvaged where possible. All remaining metals and precious materials go to local scrap recyclers
